Why I
Wrote It
I’ve always been fascinated by sports stories that are larger than statistics. The Manning family is one of those stories—multiple generations and different paths, all connected by football.
What interested me most about Arch was the tension between inheritance and identity: carrying a name everybody already knows while trying to create something that belongs to you. When Arch chose Texas, that family mythology met Austin, DKR, burnt orange, the band, the traditions, and enormous expectations.
You can inherit where you came from. You still have to decide what you do with it. — Rabbi MG
